Description
In this biology lesson, we cover food, digestion, transport and excretion. First, we will discuss the different types of food molecules, and then how the body digests them using the digestive system and large proteins called enzymes. Then, we will describe how the molecules from our food are transported around the body (cardiovascular system) and how they are used to produce energy (aerobic respiration). Finally, we will describe how waste products are removed from the body (excretion). The lesson also covers the mandatory experiments associated with these topics.
In this lesson we will cover both higher and ordinary level Junior Certificate Science Food, Digestion, Transport and Excretion. This lesson will cover:
- Food
- Digestive System
- Aerobic Respiration
- Cardiovascular System
- Excretion
- Experiments
- Exam Questions
With lessons, tests, hotspots, games and interactive videos, improve your knowledge of Science in the topic of Food, Digestion, Transport and Excretion!
