Biology – Ecology

Ecology is the study of living organisms, the environment in which they live and the relationships between them. It’s first important to understand how the ecosystem works, how energy moves from one level of the food chain to the next and how nutrients are recycled. Then we can look at how organisms interact with each other and how populations rise and fall.
