Our student grinds platform was built to help students navigate through the education system in Ireland. We recognize that the classroom is an essential part of your education, however, this system assumes that students learn at the same pace.
Online learning provides an extra dimension in education, it allows students to learn at their own pace and at their own time. At studentgrinds.ie Educators deliver live lessons, student can ask questions via a chat, take interactive activities such as quizzes and enter a student forum after the lesson. Students will also have plenty of downloadable content help them understand the lesson and this can all be done at a pace that suits anytime anywhere.

James is our Develop at Student Grinds. After seeing his sons struggle with the stress and pressure of Studying and Exams during their Leaving Certificate, James decided it was time to change that for Students throughout Ireland.
With a Bachelors in Electronic Engineering from Middlesex University and proficiency in Web Design, Android Development and Software Development, James had his base ready to go to create a team to bring his idea to life.

As a Committee Member for a local Musical Society, Tara creates posters, programmes and does web design.
Her Hobbies and Interests include Motorcycles, Drawing, Drama and Digital Media.

Aaron Barron
I sat my own Junior Cert in 2012 and Leaving Cert in 2015 – finishing with 610 points, which included an A1 (H1) in both biology and chemistry.
I began my third level education with Biological and Chemical Sciences in University College Cork, graduating with a first class honours degree in Neuroscience in 2019.
During my 4 years of undergraduate study, I gave over 1200 one-on-one science grinds to secondary school students, and as of October 2019,
I am studying for a PhD in Developmental Neurobiology. I focus on making these science lessons as comprehensive and interactive as possible – with a focus on key terms and understanding how things work (rather than just learning blocks of text).
Outside of academia, my main interests are reading, exercising, travelling and volunteering in Africa.
